FRONTIER SPIRIT. He will remain in Ireland for now but will come over to go in training with a view to running some time early in the autumn. Members - NEW PICTURES available on MEMBERS PAGE. (Added 24/12/08).

FRONTIER DANCER - chalked up his 3rd win and the 6th for Jump For Fun when running out a ready winner at Perth on April 23rd (pictured below). He's now off on his summer holidays in Ireland and will return to Naunton towards the end of the summer with the trainer keen to send him novice chasing. We'll see about this when he's back to match fitness, but meanwhile he continues to progress nicely and is still only 5.

Frontier Dancer wins at Perth

ACE OF CLUBS - Sadly, Ace suffered a recurrence of his old injury at Cheltenham on Friday 17th October. It was therefore decided that the best course of action was to retire him. He's been found a good home with a young lady from Chipping Camden but will be based at the livery yard of Marcella Bayliss who's only half amile from Nigel's yard and who looked after Earth Summit in his pomp. So he won't be short of tlc.

.BALLYSHAN - "Sean" chalked up the 3rd win of his career and the 3rd success for JFF members with a brave front running performance at Warwick on Jan 12th. The Warwick win took Ballyshan's earnings to close on £30k from his 15 runs for the club.
Unfortunately, Sean has had a recurrence of the tendon problem and following a vote by club members, has been honourably retired. However, our trainer feels that with further rest, he may be a good conveyance for his boys to ride as a point-to-point schoolmaster, so will remain "at home" at Grange Hill Farm.
